The rules
of 123 Rugby
Objective of the game:
The winner is the first to score 3 "Drop!" balls.
Game preparation:
Place the stack of balloons in the center, balloon side up. Shuffle all the cards and deal 3 face up to each player. The undealt cards form the draw pile.
The youngest player takes the kick-off!
The 4 key moments of the match:

Win a balloon
By combining 2 cards (front + back), the player wins a "Balloon" and places it in front of him.

Score a try
By matching two "Forward" cards, the player scores a try. They can then flip a "Ball" to turn it into a "Drop!".
*This "Drop!" ball cannot be intercepted by another player.

Intercept a ball
The player presents an "Referee" card to an opponent and takes one of their "Balls".

"Ballon d'Or" card
The player who plays a "Golden Ball" card scores a try immediately. They immediately win a "Ballon Drop!".
Game progression:
The player has two options; it is up to them to choose the right strategy:
- perform one of the 4 match actions described previously
- discard one of your 3 cards
At the end of their turn, the player systematically draws the number of cards they are missing so that they always have 3 cards in their hand. Then it is their neighbor's turn to play.
Good luck in the match and may the best team win!
Tips : Once the draw pile is empty, collect the discarded cards, shuffle them and turn them face down to form a new draw pile.
